A recent engagement shoot in Huntington, Ind. with one of my favorite people. She wanted a very mute color and gothic look.
We went to a house that had burned down and did some shots with just candle and LED lights.
All in all, it tested me because I knew she had high hopes.
Luckily she loved them.
Can't wait to shoot her wedding next year :D
Posting old photos from my days at the school paper.
I got my start technically while working at Disney World on an internship, but it wasn't until I started working at my college newspaper that I really got into photography.
Looking back is always both fun and annoying. Seeing how you've grown and changed. Seeing what you used to do that you liked, and what you didn't like.
Here are a few old photos from a performance of Nashville Pussy and Reverend Horton Heat8.
I don't think I would have the stones to do this!
I love this column so much right now :D
And some of you may ask why I agree with this when I photoshop my photos now. A: I'm not a journalist anymore. B: I've always felt this way. C: What I do now is less about drama and ethical, objective storytelling, and more about actually CREATING the drama and emotion that the news should not be in the business of doing.
